Isari Is Our Belizean Heritage
Isari Belize began when our Belizean-born father, Carl McCoy, arrived in Miami Beach for the first time in the 1960s. Growing up in the Roaring Creek village of Stann Creek, Carl was surrounded by the natural beauty of Belize. When he saw how vibrant and exciting the similarly beautiful setting of Miami became with the addition of glamorous hotels and nightlife, our father could see what was possible in Belize. He fell in love with the idea of creating a luxurious retreat in his home country and spent years working to bring his vision to life.
In the 1970s, Carl purchased the 100-acre Newtown peninsula. He was driven by a desire to share the beauty of Belize, frequently traveling with friends to visit the land. Our father passed away before his dream could come to fruition, and it has been our mission since then to bring his plans to life.
Natural beauty and cultural diversity are a big part of the attraction to Belize. Offering fishing, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, adventure and of course, relaxation, Isari Belize will combine luxury living with responsible environmental design by blending beautifully modeled structures with the aesthetic surroundings of Belize’s scenery, ensuring that Isari Belize reflects its alluring landscape and fascinating people.
Our project is set up to be executed in three phases. In Phase one we will complete an infrastructure build-out, an inn keepers cottage and eight villlas. Phase two will see the completion of eight additional villas. Lastly, we will establish a marina with retail space to include restaurants and residential condos.
